RRC Group D 2020-2021 Railway 1.2

The Indian Railways has recently announced a recruitment examination for Group D positions, with a total of 62,907 vacancies. Group D Recruitment Process

Applicants must submit only one online application for all advertised Railway Group D positions. The recruitment process comprises a computer-based examination, a physical efficiency test, and document verification.

Numerical Ability: The topics include Number Systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratios and Proportions, Percentages, Standardization, Time and Work; Time and Distance; Simple and Compound Interest; Profit and Loss; Algebra; Geometry; Trigonometry; Basic Statistics; Square Roots; Age Calculation; Calendar and Clock problems; Pipes and Cisterns.

General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section includes Analogies, Alphanumeric Series, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Relationships, Syllogisms, Jumbles, Venn Diagrams, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Inferences and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement-Argument and Statement-Assumption, among others.

General Science: The syllabus will cover Physics, Chemistry, and Life Science at the 10th-grade level.

General Awareness: This portion addresses Current Affairs in Science and Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics, and other significant topics.
